OP are you convinced that it's "jumping in" time yet? No cons, only pros...the undisputed BEST FIRST MOD...

Good decision, no drawbacks come to my head.

Wouldnt a CAI actually be better for the car? With the stock its like your car is breathing thru a straw and with a CAI its got a lot more room to get air it. Which would make it work less right? I could be wrong.

I think the part with most concern would be retuning your car . But that in itself causes almost no issues .
Look at how many people have a CAI and how much people have problems with their CAI virtually none

The only drawback is you will want alot more. I just put my MMR CAI with a custom tune and now I cant stop looking at american thunder and brenspeed for my next fix.

CAI is a gateway mod, before you know it you'll be dumping paycheck after paycheck to get a fix.

I'm thinking of getting one also. How much does it cost to have a shop do my tune? I think I'd buy the SCT tuner.

U will love the HP increase and therefore u will be on the gas more often = less mpg lol (like me )

Just be sure u get a Race tune from Doug @ B ama. I've tried brenspeed, VMP and B@ama and i feel the car with less lag and harder pulls with the race one, VMP being close to it, but still kinda laggy sometimes.
