A guy at my dealership came in on a Saturday and charged me $250 for the install on my long tubes.

Yeah i was quoted a little over 400, from the place that did my gears on fri....i would shop around and find a different shop maybe.....You have a lift so that is in your favor but i still think you are looking at a 8 hour job on your own

You guys have been so helpful. I will definitely be trying this on my own. 8 hours working on the car is not really torture anyway since I love my car. Like I said I have done it on old hot rods but nothing new.

Now I just need money for the headers.......who wants to donate???

uhmmmm i couldn't even take out the stock maniful with the steering column there.
Im pretty sure you can. I just went and looked at my stock manifolds and they didnt have any holes where it would go. Ill take a picture of them tomorrow and show you.

Here's a write up on the Kooks install (not by me) which will give you a good idea what's involved. Also the instructions for the Dynatechs. I did mine in the garage on stands. It was a PITA, but I'd do it again vs paying someone to do it.

Dynatech instructions are nice, they even send me 2 sets of instructions with color pics ! hehe

I actually used the write up more than I did the Dynatech instructions. But having them both was nice.
