Keep mine in the trunk. And I keep mine in the car in case i desperately need gas and can't find 93 octane. Then I can just tune it for what I can find.
Other than eeding to drop down the octane tune, why would anyone need to keep their programer in the car? Just wondering because I plan on buying one.
i imagine it's handy if a CEL pops up and you want to read the code to see if it's serious enough to stop driving the car.

Mine has been stored in my glove compartment since I got it, and it seems to have made it through the majority of a Houston, TX summer w/o a single problem.
I know what you mean about the Houton heat...what part of Houston would I find you driving around? We need to meet up and take a cruise!
