installing C&L intake tomorrow, any tips?

Default installing C&L intake tomorrow, any tips?

figured I would ask if anyone had any tips or tidbits for me before I install the intake tomorrow. anything I should be careful of or out of the ordinary I should be aware of? I am so excited!!! I will be using a brenspeed 93 tune

assemble as much of it as you can before you put it in the engine bay

it's a pretty straight forward
operation.

make sure ya got 93 in the tank

let us know how you like it after the first test
drive. i predict you'll be very happy

Make sure when you put the heat shield on, that you tilt it at a downward angle facing the front of the car. It seems strange but that is how it goes on.

Yes...

Use the search tool next time or just read the "simple" instructions that come with the intake. My grandma could install an intake on this car. That is all you need to know and you will be gold...

Oh and for heaven sake tighten the clamps...

Yes...

Use the search tool next time or just read the "simple" instructions that come with the intake. My grandma could install an intake on this car. That is all you need to know and you will be gold...

Oh and for heaven sake tighten the clamps...

yeah, it was pretty easy

anyways, i installed it tonight and it was indeed easy. i took it for a test drive with the 87 octane tune since i have about 1/4 tank left. O...M...G!!!! amazing sound and power increase. well worth the money. can't wait to get the gears installed in a couple weeks!

any idea how much BHP the intake and tune add? it feels like a considerable amount, maybe 30bhp?

hey how long did it bren to ship yours, ordered same thing and its been a week and they still have not shipped yet
it didn't take too long. granted, i live in the same state as them. i actually received the product before i got the shipping alert email. it takes them a couple days (5-7 days i think they say) to do the program for your computer code and then they will send it out. be patient with 'em
