Hey, I allready bought the non IC whipple kit, but they reneged on the deal. Actually, I think they were going to charge me more and not even tell me.

I'm pretty sure blackhorse's saleen is cooled twice and he's still complaining of power loss.
Exactly, imagine it with NO cooling.
High intake temps are unavoidable (unless you drag around aliquid nitrogen container and pump it into the intercooler ) so we have to do what we can to reduce them. The Whipple water/air intercooler does a grand job .

So you are using the stock pump with 60lb injectors?
Yep. Flat line AF ratio, 11.5 across the board

Does whipple come with injectors?
Nope

The whipple comes with 39lb injectors, i think marcus got confused. He purchased 60lb injectors himself.

Oh, that's possible. Alternative Auto installed the whipple and they sourced the60lb'ers .
So, what injectors are stock then?

I think I am going to get the HO kit, but i'm not planning 500hp at the crank or the wheels. If my car was just a weekend warrior then I wouldn't hesitate. I can't risk loosing the engine on my daily driver.

Man, I hear ya. Thats what keeps running through my mind.

I'm going to wait until some spare 4.6L 3V engines start showing up around the speed shops. Then I'll build an engine. Drop the car off for a week to get it installed. I'll have to rent a car just to get back and fourth to work.
