Why the difference in price??
Now that I've decided to go with a full exhaust at once sometime within the next two months, I've always thought it's best to get all your exhaust components from one manufacturer. I could be wrong but this is just me and I'm gonna do it!! BUT....here rises a question: My eyes are on either:
1)Bassani (LT + O/R X + ABs) = $1700
or:
2)Mac (LT + O/R Prochambers + ABs) = $1250
Wait a minute...$450 difference? is it quality? or just a Brand's name price? ofcourse I'll go for the better quality if that is...
Anybody have any idea?

I'm not sure of the reason for the price difference....but for that price consider Kooks as well. Brenspeed has the headers, X pipe and HF cats for about $1500 delivered...but Texas Hotrods has the same thing for like $1300 I think.

Thanks. anyhow I think I'm gonna ask Brenspeed themselves since these prices are listed in their website. For $1250 the MAC complete exhaust system is tempting but does it have the same quality as JBA, Kooks or Bassani? I'll look it up somewhere else.[>:]

The price difference comes from the material used by each of your choices. Bassani uses all stainless steel and Mac doesn't. Mac makes a great prduct, but it won't last as long as alot of the other brands that use SS.

There is a big quality difference especially when you get in the LTs....many different options out there and designs too....Kooks is top of the line but well worth it....bassani is pretty good too.

The pro chamber only comes in SS, but is severely backordered. As far as their headers go i have a pair of MAC LT's on my V6 and am very happy. Bassani is more expensive because they could care less about the mustang market. They have the corvette market on lockdown so they can pretty much charge whatever they want for other models. I just ordered SLP LT's and x-pipe. I've heard really good things about them.
