Default burning, frying, roasting the tires?

i just topped off my tires with air (40 PSI like they did when i got them) and it feels great, rides good, normal, etc; but when i floor it in first, i don't notice a loss of traction, but i look in the rear view mirror, and im leaving tire marks. not super thick, not dark, but they're there, and they're from me.

any thoughts?

the tires aren't even perceptibly spinning tho, its weird. when i first got my wheels swapped, i could hear them spinning, you know? and a little wheelhop. but now it just squats and goes.

thats where it says cold tire inflation pressure. tires say 44 max, i think optimal is somewhere in between. they'll wear faster and get worse mileage if pressure is too low.
