RE: Lethal Performance FPDM Wire Upgrade Kits Available Now!

so, is this kit for use with any pump we use, or is it pump and h.p specific. for example. someone who s/c'ed thier car and stock pump is unable to build pressure fast enough when it get in the upper rpm range, but they are fine at 430 rwhp. \

also what if a shop made a tree for a second focus pump, could this be used. on both, or would you need to.

and last, is this the same thing as buying a bigger gauged wire and unning it to the pump to get more amperage constantly running to it, and so it doesnt lose vloltage when you turn the a/c on and decide to go wot

thank you tom

Tom,

This wire kit is not pump specific. Whether you have a single pump or piggybacked an additional pump it's still installed and used in the same fashion and is very effective.

In regards to the second part of your question in just running a bigger wire directly to the pumps this works in a different way. By upgrading wires to the pumps you will indeed be giving the actual pumps a better power supply however our wire kit in essence not only does that but also supplies the pump driver module with the proper constant voltage needed to run the pumps efficiently. Our kit is fused as well as uses a triggered relay to properly get the right amount of constant power to both the FPDM and the pump/pumps. It's been done for years now on the 03-04 Cobra's and is very effective. Hope that helps. Jared
