So far I have not had any problems but it has only been a couple of weeks, but you shouldreplace the clutch. Its best to replace the clutch before the SC is bolted down, it will save you some money on the clutch install.

a little advice...if you're going this route, pick up a decent shifter. I'm under 300rwhp and sent my second gear into oblivion via missing a bunch of second-gear shifts...the trans lasted 90 days and 3500 miles. I'd hate to think what REAL power would have done

I have a hurst love the way it looks, but not crazy about the feel, if you are going to change the shifter and race at the track I would look at a Pro 5.0 or MGW and not the hurst. I may be pulling mine out this week.

well i got injured on the job and getting about 10 grand so im either gonna finish up the payments on it or buy the supercharger and finish out the 5 year loan. but i was also gonna get a kooks longtubes with bassani catted x and corsa mufflers, and im still debating whether or not to get the mgw or the 5.0 shifter, i want to feel smooth when shifting, not rough.and was also gonna get the msd coil pack, and maybe the steeda delete plates but still debating.
