Is Saleen in Van Nuys, Ca.?? Thats were the shipment began at.
Also I punch in the address I sent the payment to and Muscle Motors Performance has the same address as YourPerformanceSource.com??? That just seems strange to me.

Should be getting the intercooled KB installed on the 10th. I'm trying to decide if I should get the clutch upgraded at the same time based on what I see in other threads on this and other boards. The Spec 2+ seems like a likely choice, but I have some questions. Do you need to change the flywheel at the same time? If so what is the decision maker on steel vs aluminum? How likely are you to need the clutch if your only problem is a lead foot at street lights and on ramps?

Thanks.

I would wait for the experts to chime in, but I plan on putting in a SPEC 2 clutch prior to my Whipple HO install.

I have to wait for the clutch to go out. I'm not allowed to purchase anymore unecessary items for my car, ever! Never make a deal with the DEVIL!

Well after a delay of over a week my big box with Saleen on the side arrived. I did the install by myself (boy is that thing heavy). Saleen instructs are very shotie, some areas are very nicely explained and other areas are just blown by. There parts number system sucks and it double sucks that they don't label all the parts with their number. Some parts came in heat seamed bags with nuts, washers, and bolts separated. Other parts came in what looked like the parkers leftover lunch sandwiche bag, all unlabel. Also the turn my 07 Radiator hoses into a 06 style (07 has 1 top hose while 05/06 has 2 top hoses). Also I didn't get a Alt. pulley removeal tool in my kit and I'm having a hard time finding anybody who can remove the old pulley. Hopefully today I'll try the Ford Dealership and actually get the car running and cleaned up. Pictures after I get it running. I did start it up and WOW!!!!!

Well after wasting a day and a half trying to find a garage or parts store to take the Alt pulley off, I took a 1/2" deep socket and hammer it into the pulley's spines and welded 3 tacks to it. With the help of a large Breaker bar, 15 seconds later it was off. Drove the car and WOW. I couldn't hit it hard cuz the wife wanted to go for a ride but I did sneak it up to 100mph on the hyway when I was playing with a 04 Mustang and a BMW.
