just keep on top of your flushes...dont want the PH level to change...
I just flushed my wifes cooling system after 89,000 miles. Let me tell you that coolant looked like shiot! Good thing we don't have any traffic cause I couldn't see that stuff cooling the engine sufficiently.

If I could hijack your thread for a moment.

What antifreeze do i need for my car? I got some prestone for my wifes car that said it was good for all makes and models and could be mixed with any other coolant.

Also does anyone use the water wetter made by redline? Whipple recommends it in the intercooler and radiator in their instructions.

Stuff like water wetter gets its benefit from actually replacing antifreeze, it serves and anti-algae and anti-corrosion without anti-freezing capabilities. Regular anti-freeze has worse thermal characteristics than water wetter. Downside is your coolant will freeze if you live in an area that sees those temperatures. Simply adding racing coolant to a regular 50/50 mixture will not increase performance, it will actually lower it as you are displacing water which has better characteristics than racing fluid.

Also, Zerex Racing Coolant has been better for me than water wetter, its pink.. but leaves less gunk behind.

If we're talking about radiators and not intercoolers, look up Fluidyne, they make aluminum race radiators and I recall they recently released one for the S197. I had a Fluidyne in my 328 to upgrade the lousy plastic radiator in that car and was quite pleased with it.
Yep either that one of the Ford Racing one that is also out.
