Default SLAMMING GEARS??

This is real hard to explan but i just got my car back from having the side air bag replaced and having my tires rotated. and when i go WOT while maxing out my gear and go to shift real fast, it feels like my car just hesitate (& no, my tcs isnt kicking on). Normally my car just cuts lose for a sec and chirps and still does but half the time im feeling something else. It driving me nutz cuz it feels like its taking away my tq for a sec.

any help or an idea what this is would be great, thanks.

That sounds similar to a problem I had a while back. It ended up being a faulty fuel pump...there's a TSB out for it too so if you just take it to the dealership they will replace no questions asked most of the time.

Really? I'm kinda still learning here. I was thinking maybe they messed up when theyrotate my tires (if that possible) lol. Or maybe my tranny going.
Not sure what to say to the dealer..."o Hey, when i drive my car like an A$$ it starts acting up"

You nailed it. Im start to think about the fuel pump though; it seems like it has full power through out the rpm range it just durning a hard shifts it seems like my wheels are just "stopping" for a sec, like im hitting the brakes...wait, is it possible that my ebrake flipping up for a sec while shifting hard? It just seems like my rear wheels are locking for a sec...

I cant figure it out, its so hard to explan and happen like half the time when im driving it like "it was designed for".

Does the engine stop making noise for a fraction of a second then buck you back up to speed? If so, that's probably the fuel pump

If the rhythm of your engine doesn't change and it just seems like it's dragging @$$, it's probably something else...

And that's my Lamen's terms example =p

well, ill have it at 2,000rpm in 2nd and take it all the way up to 6g w/ no problem at all, its when i shift really fast and hit the gas again that it dose it (not all the time). Im just woundering if the clutch, or tranny, or tires have something to do w/ it...could be in my head, never know.

And the tcs is not kicking on...

the beast was fine on the way home 2nite, not sure... I hate cars, period. LOL
