Default CAI???

hey guys, i found a guy whos sellin a c&l cai with the sct-x Calibrator II and the borla axleback for $600. with i think is a hell of a deal. he had this on a 2005 mustang gt.my question for u guys is will the programmer work on my 2007 mustang, or what would i have to do to makeit work on my car... thanks in advance

Programmer will, tunes likely wont unless your computer codes somehow match, and I am 99% sure they changed. But still a good price, dyno tune!

Yeah, if the codes don't match find out where he got the tuner and then contact them with the code for your computer. They should be able to update it if necessary. That does sound like a hell of a deal.

Yeah, or your can actually go to any tuner that work with the XCAL2 and they can hook you up with an updated tune for the car. Personally I wouldn't trust any tune on a used programmer, even if the PCM code matches, you don't know for sure if they made any other changes.

Sounds like a good deal, but you'll probably need a new tune so figure at least another $75 on top of that for a new tune.

make sure its unlocked, maening they put the stock tune back on the car. If not you'll have to pay to have a tuner unlock it.

For another $100 you can get a new one from Breenspeed with custom tunes.
