I would agree that 4.10's with a twin screw might be too much. The reason for that is peak torque for twin screws is about 2-2.5K. It makes launching difficult as is with my 3.73s. Unless you are going to purchase DOT approved slicks or get a 2nd set of Slicks you will find it very difficult hooking uop at the track with a 4.10 twin screw combo. It can be done but you just have to master feathering the clutch a little, and launching around 1200-1500 RPM's

I get all my work done at ADS off of Chandler Blvd. They are alldomestic car experts, and tune mustangs, GT's and C6's all the time in their shop. Theco-owner has an 8 second mustang himself that the shop built up.Doug is avery knowledgable and knows what setups work best inour cars.

i figured that 4.10's and a centri would be a better option, but i guess ill be spinning tires either way. by the way, this is a DD that is taken to the track every now and then.

I'll second what Lucki96 said. Settle on the supercharger set-up you want first......as this will impact the performance characteristics of your car more than gearsAfterwards, decide on what gear will make you happy. Gears are easier to change out than supercharger set-ups .

I have a friend who is running a Pro-charger with 4.10's and I don't think his car even knows what traction is. He couldn't get it to hook at all with a 305 DR at the track and he goes through street tires faster than anyone I know.
