Don't get the "SHAFT"
A little history: back in January I had 3.90s put in and loved the gearing but had gear wine on decell. After about 500 miles the wine became more pronounced and started to have a vibration at about 20 mph in the shifter area. At about 700 miles after thegear swap the vibration got so bad that I thought O-S#!%. After a couple days I got my lazy *** under the car and grab hold of the driveshaft at the pinion and found about 3/8 to a 1/2" of up & down play in the pinion output shaft. Took the Stang back to the Trans shop that installed the gears and dropped her off for inspection. Next day the Mgr. calls and says I dont know what happened but you are right it is in bad shape the pinion brg is wasted but don't worry I will replace everything at no charge. After about a week The shop calls and says the car is done, new gears, brgs, seals, crush sleeve etc. but the car still has a Bad, Bad vibration at about 20 mph enough to cause you fillings to fall out, he also said he had a friend at a speed shop stop by to see what he thought. After running the car in drive up on the hoist he saw that the driveshaft was vibrating at the point of the carrier brg and the C/V was bad that joins the two shafts together. Note I only have 3,100 miles on this car. Ordered a new Spydershaft from Ron and received it about 3 weeks later due to being on back order. Well got my car back today and all I can say is the Spydershaft is probley the best $500 dollars I have spent yet on this car. It winds up faster, smooth as a kitten, no more clunking in & out of gear and vibration free up to 90 mph so far. Ron is the man when it comes to driveshafts, I would encourage everyone to replace that leadweight that Ford thought was a better idea and get a Spydershaft I can't say enough to how much better the car feels.

RE: Don't get the "SHAFT"
Thanks and sorry about the wait. I'm working on a permanent solution to the supply issues but for now I just have to deal with waiting a couple weeks between orders.
I also tested a V6 manual car last week and the results were just as good as the GT version. almost 3tenths drop in 1/4 mile e.t. and much smoother than the factory steel one piece it came with. stock approx, 28lbs. spydershaft V6=17lbs. and it is a true bolt in install and can be swapped in 15-20 minutes with hand tools.
the V6 auto car will be tested soon and then i'll update my website to make them available for purchase.
