I havn't heard from him in a couple of days. I sent mail to him on Friday about the car loading up and I have not heard back. I can't imagine how upset I would be if the car was down. 3 business days to reply is too long in my opinion. From what I have read in the forums he's been slow on responding to messages.
I made 1 phone call to SCT. Within 10 minutes I had an RMA and a FedEx number to send thepart back. That's how a business should be ran.

SCT X3's Now In Stock!
Although we are not posting them on our site yet we do have plenty of the SCT X3's in stock. The SCT X3 is just like the Xcal 2 but in a larger case as it has more data logging storage capability. The price for the new X3 will remain the same as our Xcalibrator 2. The X3 offers no added benefits beyond the Xcalibrator 2 except for more data logging storage capability. Because of this the X3 is roughly 40 percent larger than an Xcalibrator 2. The majority of our customers will want to stick with the Xcalibrator 2 at this time. If you are a serious racer that would like more data logging storage space the X3 may be for you. As we spend more time with the X3 and can supply the necessary tech support for it we will list them on our website. For those who need them now they are available via phone order at this time 574.594.9559

Took Doug 3 days to reply to my e-mail. That's no way to run a business. He didn't even offer to troubleshoot the device or offer to send a replacement unit. That's the last time I do business with him.

On a good note...I called SCT today to check on the status of my RMA. They are shipping out the new XCAL today.

SCT has released a fix!

All X3's have this bug. Make sure you install the updates to prevent your car from reverting back to stock tune.
