kennebell 2.6 install advice
Just got my tracking number fir my Kennebell SC. Anyone got any installation advice, gotchas, or just good general information that I need to be aware of? I have an 06 GT Automatic and have already installed my Auotmeter Cobalt fuel and boost gauges.

congrats! i love the KB
there is a sticky from SIDMANIC, it's a great
place to start

it looks like his .jpg hosting site is gone, but you can still
read up on some interesting points...
also, i'm sure jerjan, bigdave, sherwood, fanboy (killer) etc... will be here shortly to offer
some good insight as well

Big thing is to take it slow, don't rush. Read everything carefully and if you aren't sure, ask somebody. Best bet would be to ask somebody here because its probably already happened.

RE: kennebell 2.6 install advice
+1 on taking your time. It took me a week working about 3-4 hours a night and with the help of a few friends. I would recommend getting all the tools on the list that kenne bell suggests. Also, for the instruction manual do yourself a favor and take it apart and put each sheet in a plastic protective cover and then put all the sheets in a big three ring binder so you can just flip through the book and protect the instructions from damage at the same time. I found it easier to take the bumper off first and just leave it off until the install was done, that way I got that extra room to get closer to the engine plus i didnt have to worry about dropping any tools and damaging my bumper. So, just take your time because it is well worth it in the end and if you need help just post it up here because myself or someone else that has already done the install could probably help.

RE: kennebell 2.6 install advice
Seems like it was a long time ago but really its been a little over a year. Mine is the old style 2.4L autorotor. Still going strong. I will never forget the day that I finished the install, it was a completely different car.
