Default UDP's and electric water pump

just curious, im guessing because of the different size of the crank pulley and the water pump pulley due to the UDPs an electric water pump is out of the question? Just realized reading the heat soak post that slowing down the water pump probably aint great for long trips or high performance driving any body throw an opinion my way about using UDPs and electric water pump. The UDPs gotta affect the WP because i can feel a difference in my power steering, seems like more effort is required to turn the wheel.

If you use the stock water pump you put on a larger wp pulley........E-waterpump with the smaller crank pulley you use a shorter belt.

I havnt yet, but am planning on it just not sure if I want to install the pullies because I want to go FI next spring/summer. Give them a call and talk to them about your concerns and they will help in anyway they can. Here is a thread from another forum on the install doesnt look to hard.....

Ive got Brenspeeds kit. If I remember right, it comes with pretty good instructions. Out of pure lazyness, I opted to have a mechanic do the install. Brents instructions show you the best way to wire the water pump in order to keep the wiring hidin from view. The mechanic that installed the water pump, didnt wire it up like the instructions and it looked like shet. I rewired it myself. Good luck!
