I dont know if it does help the engine run cooler or not to be honest. The only way I could see it doing that isif it pumps a higher volume of coolant. Not sure what the stock pump does but the meziere I believe is 55gpm.

I bet it would help if you could wire it so you could have it on while your waiting for your car to cool down to make another run down the strip.

I am sure of it infact people do it but you have to becareful not to run the battery down.
