I've seen a new light!

I've seen a new light!
I got so sick of the dead area in our driveby-wire pedals.
I took it apart like the one post recommended, ended up breaking a wire because mine was one that was revised. (I have an 05 gt)
Anyways, I had like almost an inch of dead pedal (I swear) and it was so hard to keep a constant speed.
So I got really angry and decided to take another look at the pedal, and found a gap where the pedal rests in it's normal pictures.
I played with aluminum, and even milled out some steel, but nothing really worked well.
So I looked around and found a BEHR catalog with samples (deckstain colors) and I cut out two, pressed down the throttle, slid them into the slit, and scotched taped them in there.
Sounds really primitive but its incredibly reliable and easy, and never fails. As soon as I touch the pedal my rpm increases, Just what I wanted.
I went to my friend's house (who has an 05 gt, and his dad-07 california)
And he was in love with the response, even though his is highly modified.
I'm serious, can't be easier, can't be more effective. And yes, the scotch tape really does work.
Here are the pics.
