That definately helps.... thanks Aircare! My drivers side tail pipe is basically resting on that it looks like. Thats got to account for most of the rattling. It looks like it has to be adjusted and moved back toward the rear of the car so that the bend in the pipes clear that black bar. I'm going to go back to the place that installed it tomorrow night bc this is driving me crazy. I hope he can fix it and there's not fitment issues. If there is, what am I going to do? I guess I'd have to go to an exhaust shop and fab me up some more pipe...I dunno
I'd like to put my SLP tips on instead of the Pypes tips, I'm going to see if I can do that somehow. Its going to end up costing me the price of headers by the time I'm done lol.

It never ends VerginaStang! LOL
I was thinking, I wonder if the O/R H is a bit shorter than the factory stock H?
With mine, the Pypes kitwas almost too long, especially on the pass. side. I've got my tips bottomed out on the last section of pipe & could have used the pass side hangers more forward. I could easily move my tips out another 1" or more.
When I installed, I made sure each section of pipe was seated fully into the other piece.
Possible fix for you might be as simple as a short piece somewhere in front of the muffs. Say 2" or so.

Ok... I have decided that I'm going to put the stock H Pipe back on. With the O/R H, its WAY too loud for me as an every day driver. Dont get me wrong, I love the way it sounds, and if this was a weekend car, theres no doubt that I'd leave it. But, its not, so when I bring the car in for adjustment tonight, i'm going to swap the midpipes, hopefully that will help for fitment too.

So, Pypes O/R H is for sale lol Shoot me an offer. Less than 125 miles clocked on it. I live in NY and prefer pick up or buyer pays shipping.

So, I swapped out the midpipes and put the stocker back on. MUCH quieter, but it keeps the tone.A little quieter than the SLP's but it does give a deeper tone. Overall, I wish the volume was in between the O/R H and the Stock H, so basically its too quiet for me. Whats everyones thoughts on the Mac Pro-chamber? Its quieter than a regular O/R H right? That might be the way to go with this system. What does everyone think?

how bout some hi flo cats? its obvious lol

the mac prochamber has a bit of a different sound. more metallic, but still rumbly, and more "urgent" sounding in higher rpms. and yes, it's quieter. the chamber acts as a muffler, a chambered muffler.

How was your fit when going back to the stock H? Cure any of you fit issues?
Mine's loud enough for me the way it is!

I don't know what you guys think, mine has mellowed out some, not quite as loud now...but still definately loud, but not obnoxious. Seems to have this very throaty "growl" now at idle, and when you give it gas it wakes up very very nicely, at WOT it's unreal, so heavy & mean sounding. Reminds me of my 67 Fastback I had with twin Trush mufflers mounted to Hooker headers, it's great.
