Default Holy Crap. I actually hit 27.7MPG on my ride home from work. Updated

Can't believe it. I'm shocked. Never seen anything above 25.2-3mpg for more than a second. Filled up by my job, trip was 33.9 miles, average speed was 64mph. I had the cruise set at 75mph for 95% of the trip. I'm down to 25.7mpg right now only because I had to jump off the line to get over to the turning lane by my house. I was over 26mpg for at least 5 mins.

Forgot to add I had the driver's window down. No AC. I almost never use AC because I love listening to my exhaust.

I've attached my MPG records since I've owned the car for anyone who cars. I run through 400+ miles a week. Change the file type from txt to csv and open with Excel.

https://www.fueleconomy.gov/mpg/MPG.do

This website is great for logging gas mileage. I always used to track my MPG on my others cars because a dip down was a good indicator of a some kind of drivetrain problem.

Update. I just hit 27.7 doing the same trip, but riding between 60-65mph. Gotta love the stang.

try setting the cruise at 65 and see what kind of mileage you get. I have to be going 60 in 5th to see anything over 22mpg.

I reset every time I fill up. I also log my mileage at https://www.fueleconomy.gov/mpg/MPG.do

I live in Georgia. Driving down I-20 and its no where near flat. Tons of slight ups and downs. I lost 4 tenths mpg going up one of the hills today, but gained most back on the way down.

I've got 4:10's. At 75 on flat ground with the cruise on - I get 24mpg.
