1st gear bouncing

If I drive mine right after I start it up without giving it a couple seconds, sometimes it will jerk a little bit AFTER the clutch has been released and only at low speeds.. Is that what you're talking about (yes, plenty of gas, it's at 1500rpm or so)? I've heard a couple other people on the board have the same problem. If you let it run for a minute then you'll be fine.

Since I suck at driving, I still have my car do this every once in a while. It happens mostly when the car is cold. You're either not giving it enough gas, releasing the clutch too quickly, or a combination of both.

Thanks for pointing that out, b/c it didn't even phase me.

But I'm completely off the clutch and on the gas when it does this.

And if you go instantly like I try to out of my driveway not to wake anyone the car will even choke and come to a near stall.

I get that same deal when i first take off when its cold. What i started doing is, Before i take off from a stop for the first time is give a couple little blips on the throttle and that takes care of it.
