Well the time has come to order a s/c I think I want a K/B . The only problem is I want alot of whine since its just my play toy. I saw on the K/b site where they said it was wisper quite. I was hoping one of you had one and could confirm that. Im just old school and used to the sound of the 8 -71 Hampton.

IMO the Kb is pretty quiet until you get in the bigger psi range. I would go for the whipple if you want the whine. They scream pretty good even at 9 psi.

when i had my car on the dyno, the s/c
whine was way louder than the exhaust....
ear piercing loud

you're on the right track going with the KB
(quality & power wise), but on the wrong
track perhaps, if noise is your first priority

+2 on the KB being real quiet at low rpms. Once it kicks in though it will scream at you. I miss that sound

I had a heart-to-heart with my mustang tonight and apologized to her for the way I treated her. The bill so far is over $12k for my ins. co.
