UDP or GEARS?
Ok, so my last mod was the CMDV Deletes. I have K&N Cai and flowmasters axle back. 93 octane tune from bren. So i was wondering, what should i do next. UDP or get 410 gears. I guess im just looking for which one first?
You guys are the best with the advice, thanks a lot!!!

RE: UDP or GEARS?
I go with option 3: Change CAI for a better one i.e. C&L, JLT, Steeda.
I went with my gears first about 800 total with install, and parts including the FRPP diff cover. If you go with gears I do suggest going ahead and doing the cover as well. There are a number of different brands I went with frpp because I wanted it to say ford racing under my car [8D] Pulley is in the garage awaitng install and my e-water pump shouldarrive today.

RE: UDP or GEARS?
Yea i was thinking about getting another cai, but i was looking at some basic dyno reads between the top cai's and K&N as opposed to c&L, airaid, and others were 3-5 horse difference which isnt much.
I guess, money wise, is it better to just save and get gears or just get the udp for cheaper and prob install myself?

RE: UDP or GEARS?
gears and udp are in completely different fields. if u can install the udp go for it because you will get your 8 horses for 200 bucks, as opposed to the 7-900 a good gear+install runs. Plus with teh UDP you will not see a dip in mileage. But if you have the cash go with the gears. I have 4.10s and no UDP. Its all about how u want to do it and how the money flows. Good luck

RE: UDP or GEARS?
UDP - Pro: costs less, you can do it yourself easily, helps gas mileage some.
Con: won't notice it as much as gears
Gears - Pro: You'll feel more of a difference than just the UDP.
Con: It'll cost more if you don't do it yourself, gas mileage on the highway will suffer some.

RE: UDP or GEARS?
Yea, i plan on doing both udp and gears, i was just wondering which to do first. I think if i get the most expensive out of the way then i'll feel alot better. ALso, isnt it about torque and not horsepower anyway?
