Default any automatic drivers out there?

My wife and I bought our GT together. The car's in both names. She talked me into buying an automatic. Now i'm shooting myself in the foot. It's just not the same for me driving an automatic. Now get this, she wants to buy a GT for herself and she's looking at manuals. Anyway, just dropping a quick line to see if there are any automatic owners out there? But I can't complain, I'm lucky enough to be driving what I'm driving in the first place.

Take care,
Will

I have an automatic. At first I wish I had a manual but I am happy with where my car is now. I dont mind the autos at all.

Ill be the first to admit that Im just too freakin lazy to shift. I like my auto. Think about getting yourself an intake and tune for that, it does wonders for the auto.

I test drove both before buying my GT and I liked the auto alot better. With the new 5-speed automatics they have now the shifts are almost like a manual car just smoother. I know I lost a little power at the wheels but with a tune from Brenspeed or Bamachips you'll be glad you got it. I have the Bama tune and just love chirping the tires thru 2nd and 3rd shifts when I'm passing the little ricer boys.

glad to see i'm not alone. when i first bought the car i was like some of you, i thought i was getting too old and too lazy for a manual. however, at times....at times that is, i do miss the clutch and the feel of driving one. but the way traffic is nowadays where i live, i'm probably better off with an automatic.

take care guys,
william

+1, you can tune your auto these days to no end. They have much more potential than the way they come form the factory.
