Default Aluminum driveshaft

I was wondering how much of a difference this actually makes. Is it worth the money? Can you feel the difference?

I recall a few previous threads about a 2-3 HP increase from the reduction in weight/rotational inertia.

it doesnt increase hp, it just frees it up giving it a more spunky responsive feel, try swinging a base ball bat and then swing a golf club...

I've heard it can shave off 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile. If it's true I want one.

I knew it didnt add horsepower but I was wondering how much it would "free up"...How much more responsive would it feel?

well it removes 20 lbs of rotating mass, i think that it makes it feel more like a go kart... no experience here though... I am kinda scared to get one though... not trying to be a neysayer, but that slack that is built into the car has to go somewhere, i believe someone said that the slack returned after installing a one piece... not a good thing...

do you go to the track? Do you drive more than 1hr to the track? Cause the tow truck to get your car towed after breaking that ****ty 2-piece driveshaft isnt worth it either.

It removes weight, everyone says it is smoother. You dont have the clunk when shifting.

Its worth the mod. It doesn't add any hp at all yes ... but .2 sec in the 1/4 mile being in the 13´s is like getting 20 (+ o -) hp into the car ... for all those "HP guys". Same case with the gears, doesnt give hp and makes you go faster. Shaving off weight doesn't add hp either and makes you go faster ... and so on.
