Did you ever hear such ado about nothing? Run the 10w30. The API SM code is the important thing.

[sm=violin.gif][sm=violin.gif][sm=violin.gif]I have been in the oil business for over 25 years . Did you put your diaper on backwards this morning? Rule #1 Don't sweat the little stuff. Rule #2 Everything is little stuff. You better run to your mommy moderator because I hurt your itty bitty feelings.

Oh and my last good advice was telling people not to listen to you. If you would look at some of the major oil sites , they will clue you in on what is the most important when concerning oil.[sm=loser.gif] Have a nice day and see if just once you can not reply.

again, nice double post n00000000000b. The edit feature is your friend.
I don't care how long you've been in the oil business, maybe back when dinosaurs roamed the earth you could use 5w30 or 10w30 for anything because they are API certified for all gas engines. Well nowadays, Honda, Ford, Dodge etc are requiring 5w20 and a thicker oil can be a problem for engines with tight bearing clearances. And I don't know what aspect of the biz you're in, but if it's the service end, well my friend you are one of the main reasons I change my own oil.
