Low 12's What are you guys smoking? Mid to high 12's if he's a good driver and the track is good. More like low 13's for someone who hits the track once a year.
You can say that again... Holy **** low 12's?? C'mon a fully bolt-on GT will go high 12's on sticky tires and a good driver, low 13's w/ the average driver. On street tires... Well, who knows then. I barley see stock ones getting out of the 14's, and a few supercharged ones only doing low 13's, high 12's so there's no way a bolt-on GT will go low 12's...

uhh....my car runs low 12's on a stock longblock without a power adder. 12.09 @114.7 last week at NVMC's track day in MD so it is possible with the right tune and the right weather but with most street tunes i'd say his car is probablyin the mid-high 12 second range.

Low 12's only with a turbo, supercharger, or nitrous.
Wow...that's a very concrete, factual statement you're making there...and yet so wrong. For the sake of not getting out of line I'll leave it at that.

well Rons automatic is almost in 11´s with full bolt ons so its possible. BUT coming back to the thread theme .... i'm not asking about times in full bolt on automatics, just specifically about my setup... [&:]
Thing is ... that yesterday i went to try my car in a road in middle of nowhere with the G-tech ... to my surprise i did all the runs (around 5) doing 13.4 - 13.5 couldn't go lower. Perfect launch, 0 wheel spin, revved to 1,900 rpms before tires started to spin and just let go, and IMO its around .5 sec slower than it should be doing or even a bit more, I used to clock 13.4 also with just CaI+Tune+UDP, and now that i have a ton of other **** i'm doing the same time? wtf?

Also ... I had VMP tune when I ran 13.4 with just the CaI+Tune+UDP.
Since then, I wanted to try Dougs Race tune since i got the CMDP´s and thats the one i'm using atm with all the **** in the car.

... I'm so confused now [:@][&:][:'(]

I'm sorry but if someone has FI in a S197and are only running low 13s or high 12s, then either they have severe traction problems, can't drive for their life, or there is something seriously wrong with their car.

There are several bolt-on GTs on this forum running solid mid-12s and a few running low 12s. I'm not saying with my mods I'm going to run mid-12s but by January or Februrary (after driveshaft)I should be and I'll still have fewer mods than the OP.

I guess this is a really loaded question because as someone said before, there are many variables to take into account (driver, track prep, temps, altitude, tune, etc). Maybe 12.2 was a little low but with those mods, I'd be disappointed if I couldn't get below 12.5. Perhaps I'm expecting too much...I dunno.

Spyder, you and your car are not your every day setup. You put a lot of time and effort into both the car and the driver. But back to MexGT as I said you will prob run in the high 12's on a Very good day to low 13's average. Those G-techs are not very reliable from what I have heard.
