deep, and retains a lot of the good qualities of the loudmouths, but i think the sound is cleaner. a lot of these mufflers like the slps or anything that has a basically straight through design without too much packing has a certain sound quality to it; its hard to explain. these are a very good example. i saw an LS1 trans am yesterday with this exhaust; sounded very much the same. i think the sound of these powerflo's retains all of the positive qualities of the slp lm's while being much, much cleaner.


i give them an 8 out of 10 in terms of initial percieved sound quality.

I've been running them for a while now and really like the sound. They are loud, but not ridiculous, and the tone is excellent. Back when I bought them I was surprised that I couldn't find too many people running them. The quality of the kit was also very nice...

I have them with an O/R H and it is rediculously loud at WOT. Has a nice sound at idle and just cruising around. If I get longtubes I will be going with a catted set up because it would end up being downright obnoxious.
