Default For the manual owners.

When race shifting at the track do you do a quick release on the gas pedal when shifting or floor that mother and leave it floored when dumping through all gears? At first the shifter was tight and refused to shift with the pedal floored but I can do it now that it's a bit loosened up.

At first I would let out of the gas, but after a few times down the strip, i got a little more courageous and now I just hold the pedal down and shift as fast as I can. Oh and I almost forgot the most important part, I pray while doing this also...

You should definately powershift. I would get a short throw such a the MGW or Steeda. Makes things a little easier.

So... you guys don't let up at all when shifting? That seems risky to me, you guys are brave.

i think torque limiters will allow you to shift hard under throttle.

i lift throttle completely. i can shift more precisely that way.

I lift throttle completely as well. Oh and Hurst makes the best short throw!

I guess I'm not the only one who's too chicken sh*t to power shift.
