Is calling everyone who wants to get a CAI but refuses to do the tune a ***** and they should trade in the keys for something else going to far?

Yea I agree with you. Everyone bought THEIR OWN stang, and can do whatever they want to it (except make it a ricer) And we can only provide opinions, not judgements

RE: K&N w/o tune
I have the K&N. Put it on without a tune intially. It felt a little bit quicker, but that could have also been me just thinking it should because of the CAI. Then I got a tune and felt a huge difference.

RE: K&N w/o tune
Yes that's true he should be the expert, if I do find a good tuner will I need to purchase another tune file from Brenspeed etc firstor will the tuner know what things to change using the XCAL2 and just work from first principles?
Thanks,

RE: K&N w/o tune
He should be able to do it from scratch....I know your from peoria which isnt that far from some decent places....it would be worth the trip to brenspeed which is probably 5 hours from there, and
there is Sutton HP near Chicago
http://www.suttonhp.com/contactus/
A nice cruise to a great shop will always be worth it and you know brenspeeds rep, you wont do any better.
I am from Manito btw but I dont remember anyone that came highly recommended from the peoria or Pekin area....

I think the dyno (dynojet) accounts for difference in temps though and scales the result accordingly?
Thanks,

The dyno printouts should state whether the results are SAE adjusted for both the tuned and non-tuned runs.
