Not sure if this helps any but here are 2 really short clips for audio but you can really tell the difference in the files. The first one is just Bassani Axlebacks but you can only hear the Supercharger, the second clip is with kooks full exhaust to bassani axlebacks no cats.

roots has a whine,a much different sound from a twin screw, which is more of a high pitched "WHEEEEEEEEEE"

Thanks, the kooks with the bassani sound just great it's pretty loud when giving it gas but under vacuum its pretty quiet. Your SC is exactly how mine sounds on the dyno, before the exhaust system!, it's an awesomesound isn't it

I love it but when off the dyno and the hood is closed and out driving under boost I dont hear the whine nearly as well as the side exhaust drowns it out somewhat. I have to close the drivers side window to hear that awesome sound!

I have the Saleen series 6 on my 06 GT with a 3.2" pulley running 12psi. I also have Kook's custom long tube headers and X-Pipe w/high flow cats and Magnaflow mufflers. There are very few points I can even hear the supercharger over the exhaust. The other thing is the stealth look under thee hood. Some people can't even tell it's a supercharger with their face 2 feet from it! I have to show them the pully to get them to believe me. -Joe
