First question does saleen supercharger have whistling sound or any kind of sound to know u have a supercharger?
(if anyone has sound clips please post)
Second question can the Brenspeed Stage 3 or the 475 hp upgrade be installed on stock 06Mustang GT?
Just wondering before i go buying anything?

Thanks

If you go to the Brenspeed website, under the media tab, they have sound and video of the Saleen superchargers. You can hear it all there.

The Saleen is the quietest of the 'big 3'. You can't hear mine at idle (unless you open the hood). I doubt most people (in other cars) hear it when I'm driving casually. Full boost? Yeah you'll hear the 'turbine'

If you are looking for more a sleeper, the Saleen is an excellent choice.

So whats the opposite? a positive displacement roots have the most whine, right? so a MP112 would be the best "whine"? or will a twinscrew match that? -Jon

In general the roots are the loudest. The new generation eatons, etc. being somewhat quieter than the old 6-71s etc.

I think KBs are the loudest of the twin screws.

I had the 435 saleen stage one for about six months before upgrading to the 475. You can here it now pretty much all the time but before it was only at WOT. I've had people ask just driving casually through a parking lot what kind of blower i have on my car. So yes it is the quietest blower but it can be heard.
