Only problem is that the kit wont be available for sale until december (after its debut at sema). So now ill just have to wait. I am hoping I dont change my mind while waiting. I have the money now so waiting really sucks. Im ready for the stang to be fast.

Ok, so I did exactly what I thought I might do. I talked myself out of getting the turbo kit. I instead went with the Procharger HO kit. I got a killer deal on it. I got everything needed including 3 row intercooler, diablo tuner, injectors, spark plugs and guages for under 5 grand. Plus i'm getting it installed for a really good price from a shop that has installed prochargers on these cars before.

We will try the canned tune and see how it does. If need be I'll take it somewhere else and have it dyno tuned.

RE: Getting the 07 mustang FI
I had Procharger P1SC HO for a year. Great unit. Zero issues. Put out about 430 rear wheel torque (rwhp much higher). I wanted more so I was going either to get the F series Procharger or go turbo. Decided turbo. Bought the Powerhouse. Powerhouse prepared a tune for me,using my gas and fuel and other specs provided. Ran the emailed tune for a couple of months (until I could get car dynotuned). Zero issues...it was a conservative tune. Car ran great. The dynotuner used the emailed Powerhouse tune as a starting point but with the stock block and MAFia pegging, we couldn't maximize the turbo and stayed conservative on the 11 lb spring (never touched the boost controller).
When the built block is installed, go back to the tuner with a full can of 110 octane and turn the boost up to 20 lb. Turbo is rated at 780 hp, expect the torque to be at least as much in conjunction with the race tranny and TC.

I had talked with Turbonetics, whenI was bouncing either Turbo or SC around, they said that the 07 kit wasn't going to be available till late this year. However I think with subtle differences the 05-06 kits were already out.

just waitin for the kit to be put together at this point by procharger. The place I bought it from said it may take a little longer than usual for them to get the kit together because they are at sema. I hope to have it in a week from saturday so that I'll be ready for the local car show/ dyno day here. Time will tell. I have my doubts. lol
