Rattle From left Rear of Car...

RE: Rattle From left Rear of Car...
On the 2007's it could be the TPS band in the wheel coming loose - that is what happened to me and it eventually chewed up the tire on the inside.

RE: Rattle From left Rear of Car...
OK I had this same noise when the car was completely stock. What i found was that the over axle pipe for the exhaust was actually hitting on the Upper Panhard Support and the ONLY way to resolve this was to buy a new one from CHE. They are the ONLY company who make one that take into account the drop in the stock piece.
So i say check the clearance between the pipe and the support and if you can barely get your finger in between them then that is most likely the issue.

I have the same issue OCCASIONALLY when about mid throttle and shifting from halfway through 1st gear into 2nd, (something about that torque /RPM combo). It is a "tinny" sound like a converter sheild or thin sheet metal - however I don't believe it is the sheild. I have the Flowmasters axel back only. It did start soon after the install. The Flowmasters exhause clamps are weak and don't geta good bite. So I changed them to a typical "U" type. Much better clamp - but the noise still pops up from time to time. I did check the clearance and the hangers andnothing jumped out at me. I Didn't think to look near the panhardsupport though - thats a good idea ! When it get's a little warmer here in NYCI will get back underneath and take a look !

Mine started doing that rattling crap too after I installed my axle-backs. I'm gonna go check that clearance as well. For the longest time I kept thinking I just didn't clamp the exhaust down tight enough. And I've also replaced the band clamps with U clamps. Thanks for the advice 5spd07gt.

I thought my clunk over bumps was my suspension, turns out it was my trunk liner bouncing up and down. Putting a blanket between it and the spare tire/lug wrench fixed it. Just don't overlook the simple things
