Default Precision Gear???

Anyone had any experiance with these gears? I ordered a set of 3.73's that were advertised as Ford gears but the package has Precision Gear instructions. I only paid $109.00 shipped, I just wonder if they are worth it or should I send them back and get my money back?

ask your installer what he thinks....if he says he can do it without issue then get it in writing and go from there

Just got the car back from the installer and I'm very happy. No whine or noise from the rear end, drives perfect. I've put about 25 miles on it so far, now the hard part of waiting another 500 before putting them to the test.

Auto or Stick?

I would like to know how much first gear you are losing from a stop and what are your rpm"s at cruise at say 75-80mph.

Thanks.....

Thats not bad....

So if you ran 4.10's your only adding another 300rpm/s roughly. 1st gear off the line still good or is it short?
