Default For the 2007Mustang GT

Hey guyz, For the 2007 GT..do u recommend removing the Carbon filter from the Exhaust or keep it? i assume if i keep it...lots of carbon will stay in there then will make pressure and the car will be kinda heavy. thanks

Are you sure you're not thinking of the pre-cat that was in the intakes of early 2005 GT's?

I believe the carbon canaster is actually hooked into the fuel system, not the exhaust. I'm not sure how the car would run without it.You would at least get a CEL

I feel better, I saw this earlier and decided not to touch it.

I figured it was one of those "When do I need to change my blinker fluid?" kind of threads.

Now what he really needs to be afraid of is if his muffler bearing goes out.

Thats just plain dangerous.
