Default TB Spacer

Anyone install one and pick up HP? Stock car gained 6rwhp and CAI gained 20rwhp, FI more HP. bogus or somewhat true?

i got the poweraid made by airaid and it does absolutely nothing except make a whistling noise that i cant hear anymore over my loud a$$ exhaust

TB spacers are useless. I would be amazed if they netted 6whp in any applications, NA or FI.

I'm tempted to contact Brent from Brenspeed and see what he thinks about TB spacers, Brenspeed sells one for $100.

Nope - not a good buy. Better off getting a bigger TB, manifold, and larger intake. If your pushing some serious boost, a bigger meter will come in handy too...

No BS - I picked up 58 rwhp accross the board on the same tune when I switched to a custom TB, manifold, and intake...

The mistake many guys/shops make is to think a bigger TB is all you need for big gains. The bigger TB doesn't mean too much if the manifold and intake are still choking.

last I heard from my buddys dyno shop. A guy had one on and dyno'd then he took it off to see what kinda gain he had from it. End up gaining 10rwhp when he took it off...
