RE: VALVE COVERS
Taking the covers off isn't that bad..... i had to remove my supercharger head unit and it took me about 1.5 hrs total....
1 I used 3m schotch bright ..
2 I sanded them with 800 grit wet paper
3 Then sanded with 1000 grit wet paper
4 Final sanding with 1500 grit wet paper
5 used a cordless drill... with buffing wheel and brown rouge
6 same drill use different buffing wheel with white rouge
7 used blue Flash Polish with buffing wheel
8 used pink Flash Polish by hand
9 used Hollywoods matal polish by hand
If you would like to see all the buffing wheels and polish that i used i will be more than happy to take pictures of the product that i used ..... my covers are the stock ones and have NOT been Chromed... or powder coated.... i will be doing a pair for a friend of mine soon i can give a step by step instruction with pictures while doing it ....... if anyone wants to try it on there own

Man, how many hours did that take?
They look amazing! I did not think you could get the stock heads to shine so much! Take pic's all along the way doing your friends. I am interested in seeing it in action.

No pics and i know what that means, but I did mine with my dremel. Started with 120 grit flapper wheel, then used course scotch brite wheel (brown)until all sanding marks were gone, then fine scotch brite wheel (red). Finished with the Mothers power ball and alluminum polish, used never dull polish to get in the spots the power ball didn't reach well. Mine look like polished mag wheels. A1's look like chrome, I didn't get that far into it. I would like to powder coat clear mine to keep cleaning easier though.
