It's not a kennebell specific problem with broken tensioners. It's a problem with the stock tensioner being to weak to handle that much power when power shifting. Almost every broken tensioner i've read about was from power shifting at the track.

Anyway get yourself one of these and you won't have to worry. You'll need to copy the link and change the zero to an O. I don't powershift, but I'm going to pick one of these up just incase.
