I got my Hellion system installed this week but they have not finished the suspension yet. My question is has anyone heard what these kits sound like? I got the off road kit so it would be louder. Ive been told that the turbos make the car really quiet. I want it at least as loud as it was before the kit install.

Turbos do quiet down a car pretty much. But the sound of the turbo is 10x better IMHO.

Mine definitely got quieter. I had off road-h pipe and roush mufflers and the hellion kit now with off-road exhaust is way quieter. I have tried several exhaust combinations (roush, flowmaster after axle AND before axle, no mufflers, and now SLP before axle) but now give the sound I want. Next up is Borla sportsmans. The no mufflers setup sounded best, but was WAY loud, supposedly the sportsmans sound the same and are slightly quieter. We'll see. But to answer your question, the exhaust does get quieter. Overall though... the sound of the turbo spooling under your hood pretty much makes up for that.
