4000 miles in just over two months since new.
No problems, but I am pleased to hear the number of responses with no problems, too.
This is my only four wheeler and will have to last me for quite a while.

70,150 '06 23.5 months: 2 faulty skipper 500's,TSB on differential clutch packs, new battery, new tires at 48,000, slight oil leakfrom front of engine possible PCV. Thunking in front end (only after @$$hole doctor ran red light and used my fender/frontwheelto stop.) 15 oil changes, 4 fuel filters. Noticed wiper blades beginning to die. Dirty TB due to improper oiling of K&N drop in. One 15 amp fuse. One missing screw from front air skirt (under radiator) all 4 headlights replaced. No rattles, steering tight, no noises other than the front struts. Drives just like it did whenIbought it.

BTW the doc was a proctologist.

i had mine since april and got 2800 miles on mine, i've had two problems with mine but both are fixed now, first was the motor for the intake manifold runners.... the other was a bad rear seal on the trans and after that it turned into a bad tail shaft housing, car kept leaking trans fluid....... all is fixed and the cars great now.

24k and my list of problems is pretty long even before mods. 2 new rear ends, master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch resivor, throw out bearing, clutch bleed 3 times, brakes with that lovely high pitched sound, dash rattled, had 3 shifters installed now the clutch makes a weird sound, but with all that said nothing is more fun that getting sideways at 60mph.

53,000. Two skipper radios, speedometer broke, one battery, front wheel ball joints, dirty Throttle body gave code P0506. Driver Seat had upper and lower leather replaced. Just got hit today in the rear being legally parked. Jesus.

I noticed people calling the stereo "skipper 500's". I'm assuming the stock radio has a skipping problem? I too have noticed that my stock shaker 500 was skipping a lot before I went off to school. Is this due to the stereo?
