RE: Best oil filter need advise
do your own oil changes. i dont mean that in a deragatory way, i just dont trust shops to do it. my grandparents have a bmw that has been through 2 engines. interestingly enough, they go to a shop that does "free oil changes for life". im sure its oil hasnt been changed once. but its a free country and if its a good reputable shop, get motorcraft, theyre cheap as hell and they work like a charm

What batmobile said... I've been doing my own oil changes for over 30 years. Think of what I've saved. Wait, the EX got all that in the divorce. CHIT!

...PS, i'd stay away from RP. I've had and seen bad experiences with it. Subpar synthetic imo. I take M1 over it.

I have been using Rp for about 30,000 miles. On my Impala LS I used synthetic mobile 1. But the RP is holding up good IMO what happen to yours ChiDiddy? I know there has been alot of talk about motor oils I may switch to Moile 1 again. I never hear anything bad about it.If I ditch RP then my next preferance would be RED Line but then I'm sure I'd hear cr@ p about it too.
