CAI and tune first, so you'll appreciate the gains.
You'll feel a little more power.
Then put the 4.10's in and use your tuner to adjust the speedo.
Now you'll really feel the power to the wheels.
And yeah, plan on replacing your tires a little sooner than before the gears.
You can't help but turn of your traction control and play a little.

Cold air for sure first...you will feel the over all better change. Gears are big mod and car changer...you will have a totally different car to drive. Then you will need rear suspension changes too.....I will have to say though, I could burn my tires overallmore at launchwith the 3.55 than the 4.10 , but I get alot more traction to the ground now and quicker launches......so then again...I can burn them alot easier now :-).

Don't go with this stuff from American Muscle. Contact Brenspeed.com and talk to them. Select a combo Tuner and CAI package with three of their custom tunes. Run it for a while just to appreciate the change from stock. Then, a month or more later get the 4.10s installed, another kick in the butt. 4.10 Gears, Install kit, fluids and labor will set you back between $5-600, depending on shop that installs them. These are probably the most bang for the buck mods. From there it gets more expensive for less improvement.

whats the difference between the 3:55s and 4:10s? are the 3:55s a little shorter or higher? I want break neck acceleration but still want that long punch up top..not alot but enough.

I used to want the fastet car on the streets but after doing alot of reading online,maintenence,things breaking,reliability and other issues have swayed me since.All I really want is something that's ferociously quick and get up to speed though it doesn't nessessarily have to be the fastest thing on the streets lol.
reliability is also a main concern of mine.

Quite honestly I would be happy with a mid 12 daily driver..

If you have a stock gt...you either have 3.31 or 3.55 gears I believe. Changing to 4.10 will make it alot more throttle responsive....your third gear will be like the old second gear...you can get to 100 real quick, i know that when I get on the freeway I am above the flow of traffic before I even get to fourth gear....and like right now

with 4.10s i still have plenty of nice acceleration in 5th gear on the highway with the slightiest touch
