Just got back from the dyno!!
 

I decided to take my car the dyno today to see what I was putting down stock. I have an '05 auto and I was prepared for lower power numbers, but I was still bummed to see that I was putting down only 245.11 rwhp and 251.1 rwt. Right there I bought an SCT 2 and had them do a custom tune for me. After the tune I dynoed at 260.94 rwph and 285.37 rwt. I was amazed at how much the torque jumped. The car is soo much more responsive now. It was so awesome when I chirped 2nd for the first time!!

Was the dyno done in 3rd gear of 4th?

Auto's are always off on dyno's if done wrong. Glad you're happy with the tune though. Makes the car a whole new beast.

Not sure on the gear...I'll have to give them a call and ask. What would be the difference? The dyno was a dynojet btw.

saving up money for cai and tune, and we have a dyno dealership about 20miles away.. cannot wait until i can get this done. Congrats on the new beast.

glad to hear you like how it drives, IMO how it drives is more important than numbers. my nimbers seem low to me too, but i like how mine drives better than the numbers. numbers only matter on paper, but how it makes you feel when you drive it is what counts.
