Im not familiar with the saleen system but I know the stock motor doesnt hold up past 400-450 hp. I threw two pistons out the side of the block when we installed my kb system. We got a motor built and it has been fine since. was the car detonating? sorry this is happening to another Mustang guy.

That statement about not holding up past 450hp isnt exactly true. If you pour the fuel to it and dont over rev it. 460 to 500 is ok. Just shift at 6000.

ok csgt500, i think your problem
is related to how your supercharger
gets rid of unneeded pressure

i want to say the blow off valve (or bypass actuator)
is not operating properly

good luck and i hope you get it fixed

first of all, is your ecu (engine computer) tuned for it? reflashed? anything?

did u just slap the supercharger on and did nothing with fuel/ignition adjustment?
