Default done modding the stang

Hey guys, due to a recent $3600 accident, the rising gas prices, and of course the rising insurance premiums im probably done modding the car after christmas. Parts are just too expensive, a grand for headers, jeez. Hopefully by the time my insurance goes back down parts will be cheaper and ill be able to afford to do what i want to it. I guess for now Im satisfied with 304 RWHP.

I always tell myself that after every mod I do... But now I'm saving for a SC. If you are satisfied that is good though.

The only way I could every stop modding this car would be to get rid of it.

lol, well you are probably right, i hope to come home from iraq (that in of itself is enough to hope for lol,) with 12,000 bucks so yeah for sure 6G is going to a KB and some minor suspension, UCA/LCAs but until then, screw it. Im savin as much as i can. Plus sellin all the stuff the KB makes useless ie CAI and CMCV

Be safe and best of luck over there.

All of the mods are expensive[&:]If someone is just starting to mod their car I would suggest a SC first. If you look on the KB website it will show that there is no inherent value in any other mod. I have Borla's for the sound and that is it. No long tubes just get thr KB

The price of mods are out of control......... did you guys see the price of after market intake's on one of the other posts $2600 $2800.... thats nuts.... thats why i'm doing the valve cover polishing..... and i'm going to start selling them at a price real people can afford....anyway good luck and be safe

yeah i forgot about BBK headers, pretty cheap and decent quality. Meh, maybe something to look at. I really wish i did my homework and saved all the little HP mods for the supercharger (130 for CMCVs, 600 for CAI/Tune, mufflers, o/r H pipe 300) easily be a grand closer to the supercharger. Oh well, ill do my homework next time.
