New Car! 2006 GT 5spd / Cheap mods?
Just picked up a GT with only 11k miles for a good price. In turn, picked up a C & L Intake and Diablosport Predator Tuner running the standard 93 octane tune from them.
I am unfortunatley budget constrained right now but am looking for the next best bang for the buck mods to do... would the Steeda UDP's be a good next choice?
Would SLP Loudmouth's have ANY gains at all? I really don't know if i want to do any x or h pipes yet, definately not headers in the next few months. I know gears would be great, but I am worried about something like that when it comes to warranty issues in the next few years. I also have seen nothing but good stuff about the Spydershaft's performance.
Lastly, would getting a customer tune for bamachips be worth it after the next mod or two? Anyone other than bama do the predator tuning?
thanks in advance for any advice...

the loudmouth's wont give any gain, but it will sound way louder. good mods for performance are gears and DS. UDP and CMCV are also cheap and will get u 15 hp. why not do axle back and o/r mid pipe to get some rumble in the stang.

I saw that other post of some guy having problems with his CMCV's and he said they were only recommended if you were running 3.73's and up?
Would the mid pipe make any difference? What would be the best bang for the buck combo mid pipe + axel backs?
I am basically looking to get into the low 13's here. I went to the strip for the first time with the intake and 93 tune, ran a best of 13.679 under good conditions.
I was a little dissapointed with that, would a custome tune do anything?

the custom tune will help, if you want lower 1/4 mile times, the gears and spydershaft will lower your et's by .5-.8 seconds combined. gears and custom tune should get u into the lower 13's. mid pipes give greater hp when u remove the cats, xpipe a little more hp than hpipe, but depends on what kind of sound you want to live with. the prochamber is another choice it has a low deep rumble compared to the other 2. o/r midpipe and axle back may get you 10 hp.

Custom tune will help best tune is a dyno tune thou? If you want cheap times get some DR's and pratice. Theres guys around here running bone stock 13.4's. I would worry about pure 1/4s thou have fun with a fun car.
