i'm running brenspeed tunes. i really think there is something wrong with the install, not the tune. I just drove mine around today, was making 13psi before 3k rpms in every gear. I am using a boost controller, but it didn't change when the boost come one, it's always hit like a freight train at 2800ish. I actually got sideways at 65mph today when I punched it in third passing someone. That was at like 3200 rpms. Something isn't right. I'm guessing it has to do with your vacuum lines being kinked or something. If it had leak or wasn't hooked up it would jump to 18psi right away. Are you using a boost gauge or just seat of the pants?

If a coupling was loose you wouldn't be making any boost at least none that would be making it into the intake...if all you have is the wastegate controlling the boost then I would think it might be something going on with the wastegate...maybe the spring or something...

Am I wrong in thinking if the dyno is showing the power then its there. My chart looks very similar to the one one above. I will fax the chart to someone if they want to analyze it. My scanner is down.

3200rpms in 3rd gear at 65mph with 4.10 gears? I call BS.

I just wanted to ask Hellion owners at what rpms their car starts making boost. My 05 gt is making 492rwhp but it really doesnt come alive till about 4800rpms. Is there anyway to tune the car so it makes boost sooner? It seems I have to shift as soon as I start making any power.
Are you sure that isn't 492 torque? That dyno chart Hammeron linked to shows 469rwhp with 10psi, you said you have a7lb spring. Don't you have a boost gauge?

ya you may be right... it was probably more rpms than that... didn't feel like doing the math. I shift into third about 55, 4th about 90ish, so it may have been more. Don't know what my tach actually said, but it definitely wasn't 4800.may have to check that tomorrow

Cancel that idea my wife just said her scanner never has worked. I guess the only option is to fax it to somebody and have them post it for me.
